Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Base 360 General Contractors LLC(“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Build 360(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name (optional), email address, and a hashed password. Project content you provide:uploaded plans, drawings, documents, and the project details, costs, and answers you enter (“User Content”). Usage & technical data: log data, IP address, device/browser information, and actions taken in the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your account and usage/technical data to: provide, operate, secure, and support the Service; authenticate accounts; understand and improve how the Service performs; communicate with you; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms. We use your User Content (your plans and project data) for one purpose only — to generate your estimates, takeoffs, and schedules and deliver them to you. We do not use your User Content to train, develop, or improve any AI or machine-learning model, and we do not build datasets or products from it. See Section 3 of our Terms for our full, binding commitments on your plans.

3. AI Processing & Service Providers

To generate your output, your User Content (including plan images and project data) is processed by third-party artificial-intelligence providers (currently Anthropic) and by our hosting and infrastructure providers, acting on our behalf and on our instructions. They may use your User Content only to deliver the Service to you and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes, including training their models. Our AI provider does not train its models on content submitted through its API. We do not sell your personal information or your User Content.

4. Retention

We retain your account information while your account is active. We retain your User Content only as long as you keep it in your account— you can delete it at any time, and we remove it from our active systems within thirty (30) days, except for routine encrypted backups (overwritten on a rolling basis) and anything we are required to keep by law. We do not retain your User Content to improve our models or for unrelated business purposes. Please keep your own copies of your User Content.

5. Sharing

We share account and technical information with service providers (such as AI, hosting, and analytics providers) under confidentiality terms, and when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We never share your User Content (your plans) with other users, and we never sell it. Your User Content is disclosed only to the subprocessors needed to run the Service for you (see Section 3), who may use it only on our behalf. If we are ever involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, your User Content remains subject to the same protections described in this Policy and in Section 3 of our Terms.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including password hashing, encrypted transport (HTTPS), session-based authentication, and access controls that scope your projects to your account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may access and update your account information, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some information may be retained as described above or as required by law.
